a leak instead of a lock

A lock holds the whole bag and opens it at once. That works, and it also makes a cliff: the second the open unlocks, the open sells. Here the bag never closes. It leaks from the first second, and the size of the leak is set by where on the curve you bought.

Tokens go to a program account. sell lets out amount × elapsed / drain minus what already left, and refuses more. No authority can open the tap wider, the pad included.

why the exponent is three

A straight line would still punish the middle of the curve. Cubing what is left collapses it: half the curve drains in three hours, seventy per cent in thirty-nine minutes, ninety in the ten minute floor. The cost lands on the first block and almost nowhere else.

what a launch costs

Pump.fun's create fee, about 0.02 sol, plus your dev buy if you make one, plus network fees. Trickle charges nothing at launch and nothing on the way out. There is no fee switch in the program to turn on later.

what is deployed, and what is not

The site is live and launching a coin from it creates a real coin on Solana mainnet, which then trades on pump.fun like any other. Those launches are listed below with their curve read from the chain.

The drain program is not deployed. It runs the arithmetic above, it is in testing, and until it ships no bag on a coin launched here leaks slower than any other. The plot is arithmetic, not a claim about today.
